Reliable alternative to electrical drives
Spring shafts are a great choice to operate rolling shutters and rolling grilles. They are particularly suitable for smaller rolling shutters and rolling grilles up to a weight of 100 kg. Whenever there is no electric connection for an electric drive available or difficult to install, spring shafts are a real alternative to electric drives. Spring shafts are also a very economic choice especially for shop entrances or rolling shutters in warehouses: easy to mount, no electric drive and no annual service necessary. As a safeguard against unauthorized opening, all rolling grilles and rolling shutters have a lock at hand level or in the bottom bar. Curtains with spring shafts are easy to operate and robust enough to even cope with frequent and less careful handling (e.g. haulage firms). The springs installed into spring boxes are exactly adjusted to the curtain's weight. The goal of our spring design is to minimize the hand force required to operate the curtain.
