Folding grilles in standard or special versions
Thanks to their nature, our metal folding grilles offer a very good level of burglary protection even in the standard version.
The construction of the standard grilles in detail:
- Material: galvanized steel or stainless steel
- Double rods: vertical double rods as 10 x 20 x 10 x 3 mm U-profiles
- Rails:lower and upper rail as U-profile 30 x 50 x 30 x 3 mm: upper rail fixed, lower rail can be folded up – from a height of 2,500 mm upper rail as U-profile 50 x 50 x 50 x 3 mm. Front rail (closure rail) and rear rail (back reinforcement) for single-leaf scissor grilles as 30 x 50 x 30 x 3 mm U-profile.
- Scissors: Scissors made of 18 x 4 mm flat steel running over three double bars, clear bar spacing max. 120 mm. Two rows of scissors up to 2,400 mm grid height, three rows above this.
- Rollers: smooth-running ball bearing rollers with plastic coating
- Grids: either fixed or swiveling (90° and 180°) grid packages.

We also offer scissor grilles as a WK3 or RC3-tested special version with multiple locking, hardened scissors, stainless steel rivet bolts and saw protection for double bars. RC3 stands for “resistance class 3” – in German: resistance class 3. Gates and grilles that are certified as RC3 in accordance with the DIN EN 1627-1630:2011 test standard provide resistance to a break-in attempt using a defined set of tools for at least five minutes

Despite the very thick materials used and the highly durable design, folding grilles from keroll are comfortable and easy to use. With their different space-saving installation versions, they are particularly suitable for subsequently securing the doors and windows of a property. When the folding grille is open, the lower rail can be folded up, the concentrated grill pivots thereby allowing unobstructed access with maximum possible passage width and no sill.
